I am Aira Sandino R. Gabuyo, an 18 year old student nurse in Manila. I was born also in Manila but I was raised in the little town of Baao, Camarines Sur 3 years after the dictatorship of Ferdinand Marcos in the Philippines.
Though this site is a new blog I have developed, I have started blogging way back 2005 in Friendster and then shifting to Blogger then to Wordpress and now I am back here at Blogger with this account I am currently maintaining.
I am a keen observer of social development and I have enrolled myself in different organizations around the country such as the Independent Film Group of PWU and The GREENPEACE cyberactivists movement.
Though I considered myself politically idealistic because of my liking to political leades such as Karl Marx, Niccolo Machiavelli , Winston Churchill, Mohandas Gandhi, and Benito Mussolini, I am a non-radical person and I have a strong belief that change is needed only at a right time that the majority needed it as well and not just a particular group of people.
I am a dreamer and my principle is to be an instrument of change of the society.
